Phun Fotography

This is my own photo, and at the risk of tooting my own horn, I'm gunna write about it.

I was in my backyard ealy one morning (9:30am) and decided to try out my new copy of photoshop on my brother's iMac. but first I needed a couple of photos.

It was bit windy outside and I saw this lone daffodil spewing out of the lawn with some sort of spider-ant thing on it which was just clinging to life on the edge of one of the petals.

Utilising my macro lens, which i'm incredibly fond of, it took about 7 million shots to get it right, because the spider had to be in the right position and I had to adjust the shutter speed so there was no blurring of the flower as it struggled in the wind.

In photoshop I saturated the greens and yellows and sharpedned the edges and just used auto levels to adjust the colours and exposure.

In short, this is the greatest picture anyone has ever taken. But then again, I am my own toughest critic.
